Meet The Restless

Always in search of a greater excitement, the next “thing” is always more exciting. The need for activity. The need to always be busy. Doesn’t allow you to feel much at peace or content within your current activity or in this moment. Always looking for what’s next. Never-ending stream of distractions that make you lose your focus on the things and relationships that truly matter. Others have a hard time keeping up with you and feel distance from the you. They feel that where you are and who you’re with is never good enough. The ultimate “fear of missing out” persona.

Restless’ self-justifying lie (promise): Being busy means you are living life fully. But the issue is the restless person is never in the moment and they’re missing out on what’s happening right now. They never slow down long enough to live in this movement and make valuable memories. I am going to make sure you get the most out of life.  You experience life most fully, and you grow the most and you achieve the most when you are always busy and on to the next thing.

How: Never being present, looking for the next thing.

Looks like: Jumping from one thing to another, what’s next, what’s more interesting.

Feels like: Not present, not making memories because you are not there. You cannot make a memory of a place you have never been. When you are not present, you are not able to create memories.

Consequence/Problem: Get the least out of life because you are never really there. Grow less, perform less. Miss out on memories and feeling fulfilled.

The Restless - Doesn't allow you to feel much at peace or content within your current activity or in this moment.
